Kalaha is a game that is over 6000 years old. It is played by 2 players. In this version the computer is your opponent. The game consists of 12 ponds, 6 for each player, and 2 banks, one for each player. The game starts with six stones in each pond. To make a move a player empties one of his six ponds and divides these stones up by putting one stone at the time in the next pond in the counter-clockwise direction. The first bank that you reach is your bank. You only put stones in your own bank. When you reach the opposite bank, you may skip this and continue dividing stones in your own ponds. If the last stone is put in your own bank, you may continue and select another pond. If the last stone is put in an empty pond on your own side, this stone may be moved to your own bank. Also you have captured the stones in the opposite pond from your opponent, these are put in your bank too. The game ends when one of the players has emptied all his ponds. The opponent may move the remaining stones in his ponds to his own bank. The winner is the player that has the most stones in his bank. In this version you only have to click on a pond to empty it and the program will do the rest.
